Full mint frost. Sharply struck. Remarkably smooth, satiny surfaces. Merely a few shiny, miniscule breaks in the luster on Liberty's portrait. Nothing hard or detracting. Virtually flawless otherwise. Wonderful eye appeal. Teletrade, March 2003.
A Gem untoned example with brilliant luster, well struck devices, and minimal contact marks. Population: 448 in 66, 18 finer (10/03). From the Dylan Elijah Collection of Morgan Dollars. Heritage January 2004 Long Beach Signature Sale.
An exceptional 1921 Peace Dollar. The mint luster is bright and very thick over each side and there are no mentionable or even noticeable abrasions present. Sharply struck overall with uncommonly strong definition in the centers, the surfaces are mostly brilliant with just the slightest hint of light silver-gray color present. Heritage August 2004 Signature Auction.
