关于此套币:
An extremely challenging set with many tough dates, two of which are virtually unobtainable; the 1853-O No Arrows (only 4 known) and the classic 19th century rarity, the 1878-S. Wiley and Bugert estimate there to be no more than (60) total 1878-S halves left in existence. Currently, PCGS has graded only (36) 1878-S halves and NGC has graded just 13. Finding the very rare low mintage 1851 and 1852 Philadelphia coins, as well as finding their New Orleans branch mint counterparts in low grades is a very difficult task. The low-mintage dates from 1879-1890 are difficult to find as well, especially in low grades. I count the 1887 as being the toughest coin from the years of 1879-1890. This set is just plain tough, with many dates having "insanely" low pops and containing multitudes of low-mintage dates throughout. I found most of the coins in my set raw, then sent them in for grading. I have spent hundreds of hours searching for nice, honest, low-ball coins, however my passion in searching for lower-grade examples continues.

Great Set. I liked the notation "Purchased Raw" and then graded by PCGS. Reminds me of when I started collecting lowball commemoratives off of ebay
Thank you for the compliment, however I cannot say I fully agree with your comment "the series has an abundant supply of lower grade coins to choose from". True that some coins are easily found in low grades, but some are very tough in lower grades.
My set of Seated Halves was a by-product of the 99 piece type set hunt. It appears the Seated half series has an abundant supply of lower grade coins to choose from! I like your 21 Peace $ in P1.... I need that coin!! You have a great set.
Obviously your set has taken a considerable amount of time and $ to put together! Thanks for the comments on my new "Take a Seat" set. My main focus is on my other Low Ball sets; "Finest Known!" and my Early Bust Quarter with Major Varieties.
