关于此套币: 1891 marks the final year of the seated liberty coins. The reason why I started this set in 2018 is because most of the coins are available in high grade for a low price. The Indian head cent and v nickel are like most of the others coins in this era which is inexpensive. All three dimes are available from $200 to $350 in ms-63 with a little bit of searching. The quarters from Philadelphia and San Francisco can be located in mint state grade for around $400 each. However the quarter from New Orleans is the "Key Date" from this year making a G-4 example cost around $450. 1891 is also the final year of low mintage for the half dollar making this mintage of 200,000. A low mint state coin should cost around $500, but when dealers find this coin they like to jack up the price because it is "rare" but really it is not. Finally the dollar coins from 1891 are the final year of common date coins until 1897. All of the dollar coins are easy to locate in mint state except the Carson City branch but with a little bit for searching you can find the right coin for you.
