关于此套币: 1939 marked the beginning of the Second World War with the invasion of Poland by the Germans from the West and the Soviets from the East. "Jericho Trompet" (Jericho's Trumpet) is the hellish siren of a Junkers Ju-87 Sturtzkampfflugzeug (dive bomber) whose pilots fired the first shots of the war. StuKa ace, Hans-Ulrich Rudel, was the most highly decorated German serviceman of the Second World War, having flown 2,000+ missions on the Eastern Front in the StuKa and over 400 more in the Focke-Wulf Fw-190 "Würger" fighter. A single StuKa remains fully intact today in a Chicago museum.
