1982 1C Bronze Large Date MS62BN PCGS #146015

Unique 1982 Lincoln Cent with Distinctive Lettering This particular Lincoln cent stands out for its intriguing design characteristics, making it appear almost futuristic among its peers. One of the most notable features is the letter “T” which appears on both the obverse (front) and reverse (back) of the coin. On the obverse, the serifs of the “T” are notably thicker and shorter than usual. In contrast, on the reverse, the “T”s display much thinner serifs, a pattern echoed by the “E” in words like “AMERICA” and “ONE CENT”. Diving deeper into the reverse, a closer inspection of the letters reveals more nuances. The “N”s in the inscriptions carry distinct shapes, while the bottom serif of the “F” in “OF” adds another layer of uniqueness. The “S”s, especially the shadow effect on the last “S” in “STATES”, contribute to the coin’s aesthetic allure. Turning to the obverse, the letters in “LIBERTY” also draw attention, particularly the “Y” with its unusually short left serif. The “O” in “GOD” is another point of interest, complementing the detailed observation of “WE” and “TRUST”. The date and Lincoln’s jacket add further charm, highlighting the meticulous craftsmanship of this coin. This 1982 Lincoln cent, with its large date, is not just a piece of currency but a miniature art piece in the world of numismatics. Enthusiasts might find joy in exploring these details, which are a testament to the hobby’s depth and the joy of collecting. Invitation to Explore Further If this coin has piqued your interest, I invite you to delve into more from my collection. Each coin in my registry sets has its own story, characterized by such detailed observations. Understanding these nuances does take time, but as a collector, I believe the devil - and the delight - is in the details. I look forward to sharing more about each coin in this album and eventually expanding to the rest of my collection. Cheers,Your Coin Collector 2.0

I am always in a look for rarity, and the unique toning of a coin. This particular Coin was never obtained by any other collector in the history. Based on the uniqueness of this coin makes it the only one in this grad. In addition this coin has lots of dubbing which could be spot with naked eyes on the obverse, & reverse, and the RPM is clearly visible however, not recognized yet by the professionals.
