In 2005 the U.S. Mint introduced a new Satin Finish on Jefferson Nickels as well as other denominations that are usually issued for circulation. The Satin Finish coins were issued in Sets from 2005-2010. Most 2006-P and D Satin Finish Jefferson Nickels came in really nice quality ranging from about MS67-MS69 condition. So finding a really nice example should not be very difficult. Pop. 141/0 (11/17).
The 2006-P Nevada Satin Finish Quarter is usually well struck. So, most examples are usually in higher grades, especially since they weren't issued for circulation and only sold in special mint sets. Examples in SP68 condition appear to be the norm. In SP69 they are much scarcer, yet, affordable for most collectors. Pop. 55/0 (5/18).
The 2006-P Satin Finish Sacagawea Dollar was not issued for circulation. They were only sold in special sets to collectors or the public. Most examples range from about SP67-SP69. Any examples grading higher are considered scarce to rare. Pop. 394/0 (11/17).
The 2006-D Satin Finish Dollar was only sold in special mint sets directly by the U.S. Mint. Examples, should all be in high grades of SP67 or SP68. Examples in SP69 are much harder to locate and anything grading higher is very tough to find. Pop. 171/0 (10/17).
