This PR65CAM 1863 proof is a rarity. The stike is razor-sharp, and the mirrored fields provide superb contast. A few tiny bluish specks appear on the obverse, and the reverse has an area of amber and violet toning along the lower rim. Pop. 14 9. Higher.

This high end proof example shows deep teal and violet toning in the mirrored fields, while the devices show lighter hues of the same with the occasional golden accent. The strike is bold, and only a few faint hairlines, well hidden by the rich patina, limit the numeric grade. Pop. 4 2 higher
