1950-1964 Proof Set with Major Varieties

This set highlights the classic Proof set era starting with the first postwar sets and concluding with the last "flat pack" silver coins from 1964. The early Franklin Halves are the keys here and finding gem cameo examples goes far in the rating for this set. While there are not a large number of varieties, there are six which add some challenge to this "Major Varieties" set. Most notable is the 1961 Half with the Doubled Die Reverse. The Small/Large date varieties of the 1960 cent also are included.
