- Jake Ryson Consignment. 16 in MS-61 and 71 higher at NGC. It is hard to imagine how a heavy crown-sized coin from nearly 200 years ago survived in Uncirculated condition, but the current lot is such a coin. Featuring a Roman-inspired portrait of George IV, this semi-prooflike 1821 British Crown is a sight to behold. Gleaming green-blue mirrored surfaces cover both sides of the coin and only minor contact marks hold it back from higher grades (ls).
