- The Crack Of Dawn Collection. Ex-Redfield. A terrific strike has bequeathed great eye-appeal, supplemented by the phenomenal bowled luster for which this issue is famous. A prodigious number of 1886-S silver dollars came out of the Redfield hoard, but many of them were heavily toned. This beauty faces up as generally white but does show a touch of apricot-gold on the rims.
