- GREAT BRITAIN. 6 Pence, 1703. London Mint. Anne. PCGS MS-62 Gold Shield. S-3590; KM-516.1. VIGO type. Though possessing a high degree of haymarking--typical for the issue--on the obverse, this nearly choice specimen also offers tremendous luster and some hints of burnt sienna on the obverse. Featuring the 'VIGO' marking below the queen's bust, these issues were struck from silver seized from the Spanish at Vigo Bay. Estimate: $500 - $750. Provenance: From the Regent Crest Collection.
