This is an old friend, a truly SUPERB GEM that we have had the pleasure of selling a few times in the past. This is an incredible coin that is VERY HIGH END for the grade. It is certainly closer to a PR68 than it is to a PR67. Extremely clean, crystal clear mirrors beam boldly all over and are boldly reflective; they look like a fresh sheet of ice in their smooth, glassy reflectivity. The obverse enjoys moderate natural pale colors of lavender, blue, green, gold, amber, and pale tangerine. The reverse is an explosion of iridescent blue, gold, amber, pearl green, and violet colors. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike and have thick frosting. The eye appeal is fabulous! Only 880 Proofs were struck. PCGS 15, NGC 15, CAC 8. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $6,000 and this coin has sold in the $5,053 to $7,344 range. Just four are graded finer. Once a part of the world class Young-Dakota Collection, this coin could now grace your cabinet! Expect strong bidding when it crosses the block! Cert. Number 24958734 PCGS # 5681
