- Break out the sunglasses! Blinding golden luster identifies this GEM that has distinct claims to a SUPERB GEM grade. This is a date that is rare in such a lofty state of preservation and is extremely so any finer! Bright and brilliant, the yellow-golden surfaces scream. Some very minor ticks are seen with the aid of a glass but do not detract from the strong eye appeal. PCGS 201, NGC 152. The most recent examples have sold in the $10,500 to $12,000 range and the current PCGS Price Guide value is $15,000. Just a half dozen are graded higher at PCGS, all MS66+.
