详细说明: This is a lovely Condition Census quality O-101. A sharply struck, very choice example that has a bold, flashy luster. The satiny brilliance glows with an impressive vibrance that serves as a back light for the iridescent pearly-blue, soft rose-gold, and mottled olive-tan colors add to the beauty of this original MS64 Capped Bust half dollar. Remnants of the underlying 7 appear to the bottom right of the 9. PCGS 25, NGC 15, CAC 5. The last PCGS/CAC example sold in the 2017 FUN auction, nearly 3 years ago, for $6,169 and the current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $6,500. VERY RARE any finer, we think there is an error at the PCGS Population Report with 29 in MS64+ (none have ever sold). There are seven graded 65 or finer, all of those are well into the five figures.
