- FROM THE DAVID POOLE COLLECTION OF THREE CENT NICKELS. Ex. Bruce Scher-R.Iskowitz. Tied for FINEST graded at PCGS. Bold mirrored fields beam from all over on both sides. Rich, highly reflective mirrors beam from icy smooth fields. Bold contrast between the strong frost on the devices and the mirrored flash. The eye appeal is very high end with accents of light toning on the obverse. Of the 1,100 struck, this one is tied for FINEST graded. PCGS 2, NGC 4. The last one to sell in auction realized $9,775 in February 2005. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $9,000, and this level may well be exceeded when it crosses the block.
