THE XANNO COLLECTION This fully struck superb gem is distinguished by satiny smooth surfaces and red-gold highlights. The outstanding luster and overall quality were recognized by Rick Snow and noted by his Eagle Eye Photo Seal. Due to the start of the Civil War, the 1861 had the lowest mintage of copper-nickel Indian Cents. This is thus the scarcest date of this short-lived type and likely to be the object of competitive bidding. PCGS 88, NGC 48, CAC 33.
