A sharply struck and nicely toned GEM example of this somewhat challenging date. On the cusp of a full head designation, this coin has a crisp impression on both sides. A blush of golden-tan and some dappled flecks of deeper tone attests the originality. The eye appeal is pleasing. PCGS 125, NGC 82. The most recent example sold in November 2022 for $2,640 and the current Collectors Universe value is listed at $3,250. Scarce finer. This piece will fit nicely in a Gem set. Cert.
