- A Second Vlack Unknown Sou Marque from the Pau Mint 1752-Cow Sou Marque. Pau Mint. Vlack-291. Rarity-9. VG-8 (PCGS). 35.0 grains. The boldest detail remains in the centers, but while the peripheries are soft in areas, the date, mintmark and both différentsare clear. Deep steel and copper-gray patina. From a mintage of just 11,742 pieces, and unknown to Vlack as reported in his 2004 reference on this series. Provenance: From the Sydney F. Martin Collection. Earlier ex Jeff Rock, March 2010.
