- 1917-D Buffalo Nickel. MS-66 (PCGS). A lovely Gem toned in iridescent champagne-pink and pale gold. The surfaces are highly lustrous and expertly preserved, the design elements sharply to fully struck. Quite scarce even in the finer circulated grades, the 1917-D is even more elusive at the level of Gem Mint State preservation offered here. Provenance: From the Silver Springs Collection.
