- WOW! This 28-D is SUPERB in every way, no wonder it is tied for second finest graded at PCGS! Impressively brilliant mint frost shows off with a satiny bloom. The peripheries have a soft peach iridescent hue that fades to an icy, pale blue. Generally nicely struck for the issue with nearly complete definition of the entire design type. There are no serious signs of contact on either side and the eye appeal is exceptional, befitting a coin that ranks so high on the Population Report. PCGS 62, NGC 6, CAC 19. There are ONLY THREE MS66+s graded at PCGS, with a single coin graded finer. The only example to ever sell in auction realized $8,519 in September 2015.
