- 1741/39-BB Sou Marque. Strasbourg Mint. Vlack-252b. Rarity-4. AU-58 (PCGS). 30.5 grains. A second high grade example of this Vlack number, XV in the reverse legend also repunched, but in a different manner than seen on the coin in the preceding lot. Gently mottled steel and golden-gray patina drifts over otherwise pewter surfaces that retain full silvering. Well centered on a smooth planchet with a sharp strike and plenty of frosty luster.
