GREAT BRITAIN. 2 Guineas, 1738. George II (1727-60). PCGS AU-55. S-3667B; Fr-336b; KM-576. Young laureate bust left of George II on obverse, Crowned and quartered arms in ornate, garnished cartouche on reverse. Good strike with minimal, honest wear. Minor planchet defect on the reverse at 8 o'clock mentioned for accuracy. Lightly toned with abundant luster remaining in the peripheries. A handsome example with good eye appeal.
