This is the SINGLE FINEST 1870 Proof half dime in any designation graded by PCGS. WOW! This coin is absolutely STUNNING! It is really amazing. The eye appeal is SPECTACULAR. Intensely reflective surfaces beam with bold flash, enlivening the multicolored, iridescent toning on both sides. Teal, gold, tangerine, rose, and violet hues give this sharply struck superb Proof a world class look. Only 1,000 Proofs were struck. PCGS 7, NGC 6, CAC 4. This is the ONLY PR67+ graded in ANY designation at PCGS. A PCGS PR67 CAC sold in our May 2021 for $4,583 and an NGC PR68 sold back in June 2014 for $7,050.
