- (t) CHINA. Kiangnan. 7 Mace 2 Candareens (Dollar), CD (1904). PCGS MS-62 Gold Shield. L&M-257; K-100; KM-Y-145a.12; cf. WS-0858. Variety with "HAH" and "CH" in legend and without dots under "Chia" and "Chen". An extra dot appears between the "7" and the rosette on the left. This interesting variety seldom appears on the market exhibiting a bold strike with lustrous surfaces that display lovely smoky gray patina and richer coloration atop of the central obverse devices adding a nice contrast to this pleasing survivor sure to add depth to the next collection it enters.
