- Missouri—St. Louis. Undated (ca. 1867-1869) Durfee & Peck. 50 Cents in Merchandise. Copper. 24 mm. Curto-49. MS-64 RB (PCGS). Boldly prooflike with deep orange and red toning highlighted by attractive blue iridescence. A few tiny specks on the reverse, but beautifully preserved. One of the nicest we have seen, and certainly the nicest in a decade as the last copper specimen in our archives dates back to September 2009.
