Top Pop!! I picked up an IRISH mint set years ago that contained two coins from 1956 and a couple of others from 1954 and 1955. The only reason I sent this (and it's sister) was the PCGS Registry adding Irish year sets.
I collect world coins from 1956 and I picked up an IRISH mint set years ago that contained two coins from 1956 and a couple of others from 1954 and 1955. The only reason I sent this (and it's sister) was the PCGS Registry adding Irish year sets.
This is a cool-looking coin and while there are 6 that are graded one grade higher at MS66, I am very happy with this coin. Clean fields, well struck and almost no bag marks.
Top Pop from the top pop MS67 NGC Slab. Surprised it didn't cross as MS67 or at least a MS66+ when compared to the other MS66 coins, including the other MS66 I have in my collection.
Raw Submission purchased in June 2024. Very attractive edge toning in hand. Didn't quite make the grade. Still looking for that elusive MS66.
It took 12 years, but I finally found a Gem State Half Penny. Top Pop. I own 2 of the top coins from my last submission.
Top Pop coin for my Colombia type collection. There were no 50c Minted in 1956, Looking for 1956 5c to complete the set!
Top Pop, purchased May 2024. I expected this coin to grade MS67 the only marks on the coin are the slight Highpoint rubs from sitting in a roll for the last 68 years. Spectacular coin in hand.
This is a really nice coin and I don't need two of them if anyone is interested. As you can see, 64 was a little harsh for this coin.
Top Pop was hoping for an MS67, spectacular coin in hand. Compare this coin to the other MS66 coins in the POP report. Doesn't make sense to me. Well Struck, spectacular luster, insignificant bag marks well out of the main fields and focus area.
