PCGS VF25 Heritage Auctions Description: 1795 Flowing Hair Dollar, VF25 B-5, BB-27, Three Leaves 1795 $1 Flowing Hair, Three Leaves, B-5, BB-27, R.1, VF25 PCGS. Bowers Die State II, with die line from left wreath stem toward but not touching rim. An attractive light gray piece with moderate circulation wear but no problems. The reverse shows the usual die crack from the rim above S to OF to the wing tip to the rim above the first A in AMERICA. The obverse lacks the usually seen die crack through the 9 in the date, and as such may prove to be a prize for die-state collectors. Although the strike is slightly uneven, this piece has lustrous silver-gold surfaces with lots of vibrancy and appeal. Heritage Comments: 1921 Peace Dollar, MS65+ Attractively Toned, Smooth and Lustrous 1921 $1 MS65+ PCGS. CAC. The 1921 Peace dollar is a lower mintage issue, and the only collectible high relief issue. Most examples show mushy definition on the the hair over the ear, but the present Gem is sharper than usually encountered. The golden-brown and ice-blue toning is original and attractive.
