Previously from the March 29,2023 Stack's Bowers auction of the James Allaire Millholland ( 1842-1911 ) collection where in was partially described as " Vivid mottled toning in russet, olive and steel-blue enlivens a base of antique silver tinting. Sharply struck and intensely lustrous with modest semi-reflective tendencies in the fields ".
