The "Las Vegas Nevada" MS Franklin All Original Old Green Holder "Exclusive" Collection 的钱币相册
OGH, very light golden tint, satin (like) finish, strong luster. Price of this year has dropped from original purchase date in 2002.
OGH, From the Paw Paul collection colorful coin toned both sides. Golds, blues, purples violet pretty piece.
OGH, Teletrade purchase difficult year finding in higher grades. This coin looks much better in hand than the Teletrade photo shows. Much more color, pic looks mustard color, actual is a golden copper, with different shades of green, with nice hidden luster. Poor Teletrade pic was to my advantage.

This coin is an upgrade to MS 66 CAC, from a MS 65. The MS 65 coin was difficult to replace, very nice and one of the fabled OGH coins that could upgrade. A high end MS 65. This MS 66 CAC is a clean looking coin, with light rim toning.

OGH, MS 65 non FBL coin replacing a nice MS 65 FBL coin because this one with beautiful golden rose colored halo over Franklins head. Few nicks keeping this from MS 66 grade. Overall this is a wow piece. Strong strike, beautiful luster, pretty color. Also has a SMS (Special Mint Set) "Satin Like" finish and is a high end MS 65 coin. This piece was another premium because of desired color high end coin.

OGH, Nice toning, nice strike. One of the few OGHed coins did not pay a huge premium, the Teletrade picture shows blue toning not evident with coin in hand. Clean piece.
OGH MS 66 Copper russett with green. From the Paw Paul collection in his possision for 12 years, before being aquired from John Wooten at a purchase price of $600.00 in 1997. Prices have dropped in this series.
Another OGH from the Paw Paul collection. Strong strike golden rim toning speckled obverse. Came to the P P collection from Rick Tomaska at a purchase price of $275.00.
OGH, This coin in hand is not quite as bright white as picture shows. Hertiage internet auction purchase early 2009 Long Beach. It is a beauty but Heritage picture not completely accurate.

OGH, this coin is not as yellow as picture looks, more orange, with violet rose. Pop 217 in MS 66 FBL, 38 MS 66, 6 MS 67 FBL. Coin was listed on e-bay/w a BIN @ $179.00. Not acting quickly using the BIN payed more two weeks later. Because coin has fingerprints delayed my reaction to using BIN. Not into fingerprints on my coins this may be an exception. Lesson dont hesitate when you need the date.
OGH Rim toning obverse and reverse, soft hidden color golden red russett, and light golden champagne. From the PP collection, before that the John Shuch collection @ $90.00.
OGH, Had the chance to buy one of the MS 66 FBL Old Green Holder coins with a total pop of 30. Ten of those were graded after 2003 in Blue Holders meaning that only 20 had the chance to be OGHs. Of those 20 est that only a few of them are in OGHs. Probably less than 5. But did not want to pay the $2300.00 for the coin, I hope that does not turn out to be a big mistake.

Pre OGH / "Doily" MS 65...VERY, VERY, RARE HOLDER. Conflicting reports these were only made for six months from August of 1989 to January of 1990, or just the month of December 1989. Either way a rare holder. Need to confirm production dates. Also a very nice white MS 65 coin encased. Paid top dollar (not bad) and a happy purchase. Very difficult finding these "Doily" holders, excellent piece for this OGH set.

OGH, This coin has beautiful light copper toning over a pristine surface. Paid top dollar as well, another bidder on Teletrade driving the price well over the price guide. My bid out bidding another last minute snipe "throw in bid to win.
OGH, Another excellent piece from the Paw Paul collection. Nice luster glows from a copper russett, colbalt blue / black speckled surface. MS 66 high end Franklin. Picture is not close to the true colors in this coin.
OGH, as you can see bought from Teletrade. Blast white, nice strike, full bell lines, not many left in old green holders. I like this one for the MS satin (like) finish. Not many modern Kennedy satin finish coins are this nice. Paid more for a quality coin.
Thank you Greg, OGH CAC, from the "Bushmaster" collection. Rated an 8 out of ten scale, picked from a roll of high grade MS Franklins, a nice golden yellow with purple rims. A keeper for this set.

OGH, Stunning coin, with beautiful toning colors of, reds, blues, golden champagne, and purples. Not labeled but coin is a DDO-002, nice doubling in Liberty on the L, B , E, R, Y, one of my favorites in this set. Cert is the early lime color.

OGH, nice toning, gold, blues, reds, and purple speckled. Paid another premium on this piece. If found in a higher grade it will have to be one heck of a coin to replace this one. This toned coin has a great strike.

Very interesting coin / holder combination. 1957 D MS 66 in an Old Green Rattler. These holders are scarce, with a MS 66 coin even more so. As of 7/14/09 there are 320 1957 D MS 66 FBL coins, 117 MS 66, 9 MS 67 FBL, and 2 MS 67, 448 coins total at this level or better. In 2005 there were 300 MS 66 FBL coins, meaning 20 less possibilities in OGHs or at that time 420 total. 10% would be 42 coins possible in OGHs, higher estimate at 20% still is just 88 coins possible in OGHs. I feel 20% is a high estimate and actualy closer to 5% or 21 coins. Even this is a high number considering no coins were graded in OGH after 1989. The rarity of this Old Green Rattler MS 66 is probably less than 3 graded total, scarce coin, scarce rattler, rare combination. After researching at auction 25,332 1957 D MS 64, 65 ,66 FBL and non FBL coins there were only three rattlers in MS 66 out of all of those coins. A handful of OGHs not rattlers. First picture is coin in this collection, second reverse. Third and fourth picyures are this coin selling at two different auctions one Feburary 2005, and May 2005 showing coin slightly turned. The last photos are the other two know examples of the 1957 D MS 66 still in OG Rattlers that have sold since 1993. 16 years from 1993-2009 only three in confirmied 1957 Ds MS 66 in PCGS Rattlers. This is one time the holder is worth more than the coin. Excellent score for this set of OGHs.

MS 66 OGH, SUPER NICE TONING, COLORFUL COIN. Absolutely love the "cameo effect" in contrast to the colorful rainbow fields of this Franklin. Good lighting sets off this coin perfectly and is a diamond in the rough.

OGH, MS 65 will be looking to upgrade this coin to a FBL MS 66...could be difficult finding in an OGH. This coin looks tens times better in hand enough to not look like the same coin in picture. Upgrading photos all in due time.

OGH, Blast white coin, strong strike, clean piece. expensive to upgrade this year.

OGH, nice white coin another Teletrade purchase. Great strike, clean coin.
Nice upgrade coin replaced a MS 63, to a MS 64 FBL. White clean in an OGH.
OGH, From the Paw Paul colection, an expert Franklin collector with an excellent eye for detail. Coin has suttle hues of violet & rose, with subdued luster.
MS 65 OGH, I love the color on this coin, Champagne, orange, light golden...very nice. Higher grade MS 66 FBL price is $1500.00. Non FBL coin MS 66 is $975.00. This coin a good fit for price and grade.
