Heritage Comments: 1810 C-1, B-1 Half Cent, MS65 Brown Exceptional Luster 1810 1/2 C C-1, B-1, R.2, MS65 Brown NGC. CAC. 83.6 grains. Breen Die State III. Manley Die State 1.0. This is an amazing Gem 1810 half cent. NGC has certified just two examples as MS65 Brown. This amazing Gem features excellent design definition and exceptional cartwheel luster on pecan-brown surfaces that are graced with delicate blue overtones. A raised line is noted between the L in HALF and the N in CENT. Our EAC grade MS62. Census: 2 in 65 Brown, 0 finer (2/22). Ex: H.P. Smith (S.H. & H. PCGS AU55 CAC Very attractive Classic Cent with very faded mint red visible on both sides. Goldberg Description: 1810 S-285 R2 PCGS graded AU55, CAC Approved. Frosty medium brown and light olive with traces of frosty lighter brown and reddish tan in protected areas on the reverse. Overtones of light sea-green show on the reverse. No roughness or verdigris, only small contact marks. The only notable marks are a thin nearly horizontal nick on the cheek right of the lower lip and a hairline scratch under the earlobe. Nicely struck MDS, Breen state II, with a fine die crack through stars 10-13 to the right half of the date. The dentils are still strong on both sides. Our grade is EF45 sharpness net EF40.
