1797 Draped Bust Silver Dollar. B-2, BB-72. Rarity-4. Stars 9x7, Small Letters. EF-40 (PCGS). Medium steel gray with lighter high points, and with some slate highlights in the protected areas. Some scattered marks are seen, though only a few make their presence known to the unassisted eye. A fairly scarce variety that is popular with early dollar collectors and type coin specialists alike.
