This coin came out of the little known but amazing Share Collection which was a complete GEM set and included ALL Patterns! For a long time, this coin was in our #1 set. It has not been offered on the open in market in many years! Virtually flawless surfaces are hard to beat. You can see only one reeding mark on the left reverse. Even when using a strong glass there are no other real marks to be seen. The surfaces do have a sleek appearance. A full luster booms boldly from all over. Both sides have a light original golden brown color. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have delicate frost. The eye appeal is nice! PCGS 27, NGC 16, CAC 8. PCGS has graded only 6 coins higher. The last PCGS CAC 1860 in MS64 to sell brought $9,462 in November 2016.
