- 1838 Modified Matron Head Cent. N-6. Rarity-1. MS-61 BN (PCGS). Frosty light brown with a small spot of darker toning above the last date digit. A high quality cent for the grade with essentially mark-free surfaces, just softly struck due to the late die state. Provenance: From the John McBride Collection.
