FROM THE PERFECTION COLLECTION OF CAPPED BUST HALF DOLLARS Ex Eliasberg, as noted on the insert. By far the FINEST 1826 O-109 extant, besting the Overton Condition Census by TWO FULL grades! WOW! While many Capped Bust half dollars might be described as SUPERB, few actually grade MS67, and this is a very pleasing and totally original example with the Eliasberg pedigree. It is also TIED FOR FINEST GRADED for the entire DATE! A truly beautiful example! Totally original surfaces have a wonderful array of colors, especially on the reverse. The obverse has a light golden-tan tone in the centers over pearly-silver lustrous surfaces. A touch of deeper color appears at the rims framing the central design. The reverse boasts that same palette of toning in a slightly mottled, but more vibrant way with a vivid array of blue, green, and orange toning. A strong satiny luster blooms boldly accenting the outstanding visual allure. Sharply struck and PRISTINE, this SUPERB GEM is certainly one of the very best of the type that exists. WOW! Ex. Louis E.
