- Tied for second FINEST graded at PCGS and the FINEST with CAC approval! This coin probably looks exactly like it did the day it left the mint. Remarkable surfaces are exceedingly clean and have a satiny smooth texture. Using a strong glass we found only the tiniest of ticks, none of which are distracting in anyway. A glowing luster beams nicely from all over. Both sides are a SUPERB GEM original mix of soft gold/pale yellow gold colors. You can clearly see this coin has never been messed with. Miss Liberty and all of the details are frosty and are sharply struck. The eye appeal is truly exceptional in every respect! PCGS 66, NGC 69, CAC 23. There are just 8 graded MS67+ at PCGS, the most recent of these sold back in the 2017 FUN auction, realizing $7,344. Neither of the two MS68s graded at PCGS, nor the seven at NGC, have been approved by CAC. This is an important opportunity for the advanced collector seeking the BEST quality CAC-approved gold coins!
