Ex Summers, as noted on the insert. A Condition Census example of this Rarity-6- (per AMBPR, R-5 per Overton) die variety which features a dramatic die break above ATE on the reverse. This impressive coin has a classic collector look, clearly having sat for ages in an old album. Evenly circulated, perhaps lightly wiped ages ago, now retoned nicely at the rims and around the devices. The eye appeal is decent for the grade. PCGS 104, NGC 26. A VF25 example of this Rare variety sold for $2,640 in February 2019. We expect this coin will sell for more.
