- 1877 Liberty Seated Dime. Proof-65 (PCGS). Blended olive-russet, steel-blue, pewter-gray and brick-red patina delivers similar originality to that seen in many other Proof Liberty Seated dimes from the Millholland cabinet. More vivid undertones are noted, as well, with direct lighting also calling forth pleasing reflectivity to the finish. For the grade, it is difficult for us to imagine a more desirable survivor of this 510-coin Proof issue. Provenance: From the Collection of James Allaire Millholland, 1842-1911.
