- What a wonderful example of this popular variety. The devices are sharply struck and thickly frosted with a bright white frost. The fields are exceptionally lustrous, bold and brilliant with a very high end quality. The fields and reliefs are clean and mostly devoid of any serious trace of contact on either side. The eye appeal is very high end and this is tied for second finest graded with just a single MS67 finer. PCGS 90, NGC 18, CAC 28. There are 13 graded MS66+ and a single MS67 is finer. The last 66+ CAC sold for $9,694 in our June 2019 Regency Auction and the current Collectors Universe value is listed at $8,500. The single MS67 (not CAC) sold for $26,400 in the 2019 ANA auction.
