- 1788 Massachusetts Cent. Ryder 10-L, W-6280. Rarity-2. Period after MASSACHUSETTS. AU-53 (PCGS). 160.9 grains. A conservatively graded piece who's glossy and even, dark chocolate brown surfaces are more evocative of the AU-58 grade level. Ryder 10-L is a common die marriage that ranges from poorly struck to very well struck—this coin fall sin the latter category, with near full delineation in Indian's tunic and eagle's feathers.
