Boldly lustrous with a thick, satiny frost over both sides. Untoned surfaces gleam with a shimmering silver brilliance. A typical strike left the central obverse details somewhat soft, but most show crisply defined devices. Some light marks are noted for the sake of accuracy and account for the MS63 grade assigned by PCGS. The reverse eye appeal approaches GEM caliber and overall this coin has a wonderful look. PCGS 187, NGC 121. The most recent example sold for $2,880 in October 2022 and the current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $3,500.
