详细说明: "1781" (Circa 1820) North American Token. W-13980. AU-55 (PCGS). 75.62 grains. Smooth deep golden-brown with subtle olive highlights. An exemplary example of an otherwise "ho-hum" issue, with surfaces and design elements that are choice throughout. No serious marks are found, even under low magnification. The obverse depiction of Hibernia and Harp are fairly sharp, certainly as bold as ever seen for the issue. N in NORTH widely repunched, not always visible on examples of the issue. The reverse ship details are as full as ever seen with rigging, Union Jack, and planks all well-presented. From a very early reverse die state with innumerable raised die lines throughout; these fade in later strikes. The accompanying Craige Collection envelope reads: "Extremely Fine and a Very, Very Rare Coin in This State, Finest We Have Ever Seen." Among the finest of the type seen by PCGS -- that firm has not recorded a Mint State specimen. Choice for the grade.
