- GREAT BRITAIN. Shilling, ND (1582-84). London Mint; im: unbarred A. Elizabeth I. PCGS EF-45 Gold Shield. S-2577; N-2014. Sixth issue. Obverse: Crowned and mantled bust left, wearing ruffled collar; Reverse: Coat-of-arms over long cross fourchee. Quite well centered and pleasingly toned, this example exhibits some minor striking weakness on the portrait, but otherwise presents completely full legends on each side. Estimate: $200 - $400.
