THE SOMMELIER COLLECTION DO NOT let the modest MS61 grade fool you, this is NOT a lackluster AU58 that got pushed into a Mint State holder. This is a gloriously toned, vividly blue Brilliant Uncirculated early Seated Liberty dollar that will forever be memorable for its outstanding eye appeal. A rich underlying luster makes the aqua-teal, cobalt, and golden-clover toning that covers both sides really pop when rotated in a light. While a strong glass reveals a few minor traces of contact and some minor striking softness on the eagle's wing feathers, the eye appeal is really off the charts, especially for the assigned grade.
