- Strictly original with a grade governed by honest wear, this is about as ideal as VG-10 gets for a Mercury dime. Despite a generous stint in the services of commerce, the coin received no impacted abrasions, although of course, the rim is completely hidden by the old, goopy PCGS insert and cannot be carefully examined. Simply irresistible, and in a grade that is highly elusive for a 1916-D dime.
