A lovely B-9. Totally original and of great collector grade quality, this AU has a bold eye appeal. Identified by the advanced die crack that crosses the obverse from the rim at the 1 in the date through to the base of E in LIBERTY. Dove-gray silver surfaces show an underlying mint gloss that accents a delicate iridescent tone. Sharply struck on both sides, the devices are bold and have a wonderful original look that will delight any type collector. PCGS 32, NGC 8, CAC 8. It has been nearly a DECADE since the last PCGS/CAC AU50 sold in auction. That coin sold for $4,888. The current PCGS Price Guide value is $5,250 and the the CAC CPG value is $5,940.
