High end and beautifully preserved, this is a visually appealing GEM example from the final Proof Barber issue. Ultra reflective fields have a bold, beaming, flashy mirrored finish. The obverse is awash in shades of blue, teal, violet, gold, and amber-orange, while the reverse is mostly blast white silver. There is a single, tiny line on the portrait which is all that keeps this GEM from an even loftier grade. Only 450 Proofs were struck. PCGS 19, NGC 25, CAC 6. This is the ONLY PR65+ graded by either service. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $1,550.
