- 1873 United States Assay Commission Medal. By William Barber. JK AC-12. Rarity-5. Copper. MS-66 BN (NGC). 33 mm. Deep, rich mahogany-bronze patina blankets smooth, satiny surfaces. Fully struck, nicely preserved and a delight to behold, this is a very appealing copper counterpart to the rarer silver impression offered above.
