- THE XANNO COLLECTION Tied for FINEST GRADED at both PCGS and NGC and the SOLE example of the date in this grade at NGC. An exceptionally high end beauty! An incredibly well preserved and lustrous GEM. Brilliant cartwheels roll smoothly along both sides of this conditionally RARE cent. A wealth of red color is gently kissed by a delicate overlay of orange, pale violet and golden-tan patina as the original red mellows. The devices are sharply and expertly rendered by a precise blow from the dies. The surfaces are essentially without flaw and the eye appeal is great, as evidenced by the Eagle Eye sticker. PCGS 10, NGC 1. This coin most recently sold in the 2019 ANA Auction for $4,800 and prior to that, this coin brought $6,613 in April 2009 and $10,638 in March 2004. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $16,000.
