GREAT BRITAIN. Great Britain - Mexico. Dollar, ND (1797). Bank of England issue. George III. NGC MS-63; Countermark: Unc Strong. S-3765A; KM-634. Bank of England type I countermark; bust of George III within oval indent on a 1795-Mo FM Mexico 8 Reales of Charles IV. The countermark is boldly struck and shows a lovely miniature portrait of the British king. The Mexican host coin is no less impressive, with sharp devices and beautifully toned, lustrous surfaces.
