- 1740-T Half Sou Marque. Nantes Mint. Vlack-314. Rarity-2. EF-45 (PCGS). 17.3 grains. Plenty of silvering to richly toned surfaces dressed in a blend of dove and deep pewter-gray. This is a sharply struck and nicely centered example with faint planchet striations, although the in hand appearance is pleasingly smooth. Provenance: From the Sydney F. Martin Collection.
